Deleting old Netapp snapshots with System Manager

by julio on

1) Open System manager

2) Expand the Filer you want.

3) After selecting the filer, expand “Storage”, click on “Volumes”, select the “Snapshot Copies” tab to see the snapshots. From this view you can delete any snapshot older then 2 weeks ” Make sure is not a snap mirrored volume”.
This doesn’t happen often, but is a good practice to go in and check your snapshots once a month to make sure they are deleting correctly.
