Download – Windows 7 RC download

Microsoft has released the Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC) which is available currently to MSDN and Microsoft Technet Subscribes.What it sounds like final version of Windows 7 should be released around June 2009.If you are a current MSDN and Technet Subscribers then  you can download Windows 7 RC version from Technet/MSDN site. If you are not a MSDN/Technet subscriber you don’t have to wait too long Microsoft is going to release Windows 7 RC for Public downloads on May 5 2009. Some of you have downloaded earlier beta release of Windows 7 which will expire on 1st August 2009.

What’s new with Windows 7 RC download .. well the license will be valid for 13 months period, so you should be able to use Windows 7 RC for a period of 13 months for free, sounds really good. I am currently using Windows 7 RC  which runs much faster than windows Vista ultimate version on my old dell Inspiron laptop.There are some new features in Windows 7 like Remote Media Streaming, Windows XP Mode and ability to run on Windows touch Supported Screen or Monitors.
