According to Microsoft claims Windows vista is very secure operating system compared to Windows XP, but there are several reports out there Windows Vista is no different than Windows XP and other Windows operating system.

Sometimes Trojan can sneak into your Windows Vista/XP PC very quietly and you wouldn’t notice anything. I have experienced several Trojan attacks on my Windows vista desktop and i didn’t realized it until my PC got into non-stop crashing and rebooting cycles. My friend other day called me to let me know that his Windows XP laptop is rebooting non-stop with blue screen of death because of Trojans, he was running Symantec (Norton) 360 on his laptop but that didn’t helped him. I managed to remove Trojans and so did my buddy, read my article how I managed to remove casinofree2400.com Trojan from my windows vista.

I have identified Top 5 warning signs that will help you in detecting Trojan attacks on Windows PC. If you are not sure of Trojan attacks one or all of these warning sign should be enough to convince you about Trojan attack.

Windows Vista Running Slow:

If your Windows Vista/XP PC starts running slow for no reason you should make run Trojan scanner in your PC to detect Trojan attacks. This could be because you drive needs quick defragmentation, you can run defragmentation on your Windows System drive but if that didn’t improve your Windows Vista/XP system performance then this is a warning sign that you got hidden Trojans in your PC.

Strange Pop ads display: in Windows

If you are running Symantec (Norton) Antivirus, Trend Micro Antivirus or some other Internet security software but you still encounter strange pop up advertisements (ads) in your Windows PC (vista/XP) then this is another warning sign for a hidden Trojans.

CHKDSK fails to run in Windows Vista:

I have experienced this myself with casinofree2400 Trojan that inhibit my Windows Vista to run CHKDSK. I had this Trojan in my Windows vista desktop and for last couple of weeks I was unable to run CHKDSK on my Windows PC. Whenever i schedule a chkdsk on next windows reboot, my Windows Vista PC rebooted and get into startup without running CHKDSK. If you experienced similar behavior then you should run Trojan scan as quickly as possible

Windows Vista Freeze/Hangs:

This is one more sign of Trojan infection, if you start experiencing Windows vista/XP hang-ups and all of sudden your Windows desktop freezes then there this is a warning sign for Trojan attack. This could happen because of CPU heating or device drivers’ issue. If you don’t have any driver issue or CPU heating issue then you definitely got Trojans in your PC.

Windows non-stop crashing

On your Windows Vista/XP PC if you start experiencing sudden blue screen of death (BOFD) and your PC get into continuous rebooting with non-stop crashing then you definitely got some hidden Trojans in your PC. I had noticed continuous non-stop crashing on my Windows Vista desktop later on running Malware Bytes’ Anti-Malware scan quickly revealed casinofree2400 and several other hidden Trojans on my Windows PC.

If you notice one or several of all these Warning sign in your Windows Vista/XP PC then your PC is under attack by some nasty Trojans. But there is a good news you can detect hidden Trojans and remove them from your Windows vista/XP PC using Anit-Malware software which always works. If you want to read More on MalwareBytes Anti-Malware then read this article on How to remove Trojans from Windows vista.

How to Remove Vundo Trojan from Windows Vista/XP

Trojan Vundo is very common Trojan which attacks Windows XP and Windows Vista PC/laptops. I came to know about this Trojan when strange advertisement pop up start appearing on my Windows Vista desktop.

As i mentioned in my previous posts that my desktop came under Trojan attack by a very sneaky casinofree2400 Trojans few weeks ago. Once again when pop up advertisements (ads) start appearing on my Windows desktop, it doesn’t took me much time to realize that there is some new Trojan on my Windows vista desktop. I am running Trend micro Internet security on my Windows vista machine but i didn’t find any alert for Trojan/virus infection. My past experience in dealing and removing casinofree2400 Trojan using Anti-Malware taught me that MalwareBytes’ Anti-Malware is one of the most effective and spyware/Malware software tool available in the market.

Trojan Vundo was first discovered back in November 20, 2004 which affects Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows XP and Windows vista machines as reported on Symantec website. There is CVE advisory available on Trojan vundo. Trojan.Vundo is a component of an adware program that downloads and displays pop-up advertisements. It is known to be installed by visiting a Web site link contained in a spammed email.

Trojan.Vundo consists of the following components:

HTML code that exploits the Microsoft Internet Explorer Malformed IFRAME Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (BID 11515)

A downloader component

Adware

A DLL module that is installed by the adware.

Here is How you can remove Trojan vundo from Windows vista and other windows operating systems in 3 easy steps.

Download the Anti-Malware Malwarebytes from the cleverbridge and complete the installation if you don’t have MalwareBytes Anti-Malware software.

Run a quick scan , once completed with scan click on results to see if you have Trojan vundo.

Select the detected “Trojan Vundo” as shown in picture, remove it and restart you Windows Vista PC.

Congratulations! you have successfully removed Trojan Vundo from your Windows vista PC. If it is morning time go and drink a coffee if it is midnights then go to sleep and enjoy Trojan free sleep.
